Raven-Symone All Grown Up And Looking AmazingYou know Raven-Symone from her career in Hollywood first as Rudy on The Cosby Show in the 80’s and her Nickelodeon Show “So Raven“.  Recently she has followed Kelly Osbourne and Jennifer Hudson in shedding a few pounds and sculpting a curvy and smoking hot body, and we can show you how to do it yourself.

One thing Raven-Symone has never lacked is self confidence.  Even as a precocious young lady co-starring with Bill Cosby, she showed a truly confident air and a flair for acting.  But, even though she is quoted as being very comfortable in her own body (obviously), she said that everyone else thought she was too curvy for the good of her career.  So, she took it to heart and with an intense diet and exercise program, she went from Rubenesque to bombshell.  Recently, she graced the People’s Choice Awards with her smoking body in a revealing black leather outfit, that burned out flash-bulbs on tabloid cameras.

Let’s look at just how she made this transformation…

Diet:
Raven followed a strict (not restrictive) diet of whole foods, rich in raw vegetables and high-quality proteins from fresh meats and a fish.  Instead of carb-rich sweets and fillers like bread, rice and pasta, she added legumes and nutrient rich cauliflower and broccoli.

Exercise Routine:
Although super successful, Symone’s workout routine was very time consuming and can be considered as border-line overtraining.  Doing an hour of steady-state cardio and weight training 5 to 6 days a week left her tired and sometimes uncomfortably sore.  It’s wonderful that as an actress she has time to do traditional long and boring workouts, but for the average working mom, there just isn’t enough time in the day to spend 2 hours in the gym.

Here’s what you can do to get the same results, and only spend 20 to 30 minutes every other day to get in great shape and get that smoking hot body you always wanted.

Let’s get started by describing the full body workout.  It consists of a full 250 reps and can be done just about anywhere.
You’re going to do:
30 Jumping Jacks
20 Diamond Pushups
10 Vertical Leaps – jump as high and as powerfully as you can reaching upward.  Try to touch your ceiling with all your might.
10 Pull-Ups
40 Squats
25 Regular Push-Ups
20 Walking Lunges
15 Chin-Ups (like Pull-Ups, but with your palms facing you)
30 Bicycle Crunches
25 Bulgarian Split Squats
25 Side-Hops

You can do this full body workout straight through with no more than 1 minute’s rest between exercises, or you can set it up in a circuit like this:
30 Jumping Jacks– Warm Up
10 Diamond Push-ups
5 Vertical Leaps
5 Pull-Ups
20 Squats
15 Push-ups – 10 on the next rotation
8 Chin-Ups – 7 on the next rotation
15 Bicycle Crunches
15 Bulgarian Split Squats – 10 on the next rotation
25 Side-Hops
Rest for 2 minutes and repeat starting with the Diamond Push-ups.  Finish with stretches to cool down and prevent cramping.

If you want to get amazing dieting results in less time with less effort and with increased metabolism and absolutely NO calorie counting, then also check out intermittent fasting.  It’s fast, easy and amazingly effective.  Let Brad Pilon from Eat-Stop-Eat show you in THIS video.
