BWET Top 5Ladies, do you want to be fit and feminine?  How many times have you heard that you can’t have your cake and eat it too?  Too many, right?  Well,  you can.  You don’t have to be an over-muscled “gym-girl” to be fit.  You can look good in a dress, bikini or even a business suit and not be all bulging and veiny like a bodybuilder.  Would you like to discover how?

Bodyweight exercises, quality cardio and a secret weapon.  The secret weapon I’ll tell you about later.  But first, we’ll get started with bodyweight exercises.  So, which exercises can yo do to have strength, endurance and still look like a girl?  Basically all of them.  The secret lies in Rep count.  High Rep count workouts build mass, plain and simple.  To avoid bulking up, don’t work until failure.  Meaning, don’t continue until you can no longer do a correct repetition.  OK, enough theory…

Here are the top 5 exercises:

Push-ups build strength in the chest muscles and upper arms.  If you want a little lift in the bust, try them with your arms wider apart to target the pectoral muscles more.

Bodyweight Squats
These will make your legs and glutes firmer.  Be sure to get a good squeeze in you butt when you come up.  Imagine crushing a lemon.

My all time favorite.  It’s a full body workout in one exercise.  Burpees can be done anywhere and at almost any time.

Ab Roll Outs
The old fashioned Ab wheel is still a great workout for your middle.  Stronger abdominal muscles means a tighter looking midsection.  No more bulging around the belly.  A great way to get rid of a “muffin top”.

360 Degree Lunges
Just imagine doing a lunge in each direction.  Doing these will give you firm, strong legs and butt you can bounce a quarter on.

Now for some quality cardio.  But first let’s dispel a myth.  Cardio is not evil.  Long, boring cardio is evil.  There, I said it.  I’m not a fan of spending hours on a treadmill or an elliptical machine.  I prefer intervals on a stair stepper.  Get yourself a good interval timer like the Gym Boss, and climb some stairs like your chasing a purse snatcher for 1 minute, then slack up for 2 minutes.  Do it for 20 minutes, then stop.  Go on to something else.  There’s no need to kill yourself.
