The Best Christmas Present Ever - A Plug For A New BookI hope you enjoyed your Christmas with family and friends this year.  I sure did.
It is truly wonderful to be surrounded with close family during the holidays and I am truly grateful for being able to do it this year.  The past few have been spent a long way from home.  I know a good many of our readers are away from their loved ones this holiday season, and to you guys, I tip my hat and acknowledge how difficult it can be.

This year, my beautiful wife bought me the best Christmas present ever.  It’s the new book from Tim Ferriss, author of The Four Hour Work Week.  Earlier this month, he released his best book yet.  Although he doesn’t stick to just bodyweight exercises in it.  He does give out a metric ton of valuable and completely researched information on body transformation.  Tim is, in my opinion, genuinely insane, often using his own body for experiments with all kinds of ideas that run right on the fringe of accepted medical practice.  He challenges the status quo on every single idea we all have on weight loss, muscle building and even improving bedroom performance.  I haven’t put the book down since I opened it.  Every moment I’m not occupied with something family I’m nose deep in The 4-Hour Body.

I will be working my way through this book and doing my best to adapt it to the bodyweight exercise lifestyle.  But for now, I’m just trying to absorb all the cool info.

Here’s a peek at a killer tip to reduce the effect of a meal on your waist line:

Do 60 to 90 seconds of Hindu squats before your meal.

Shocking, I know.  But the science is all in the book and all in the easy to read Tim Ferris style.
Next time, I’ll share a little more of his wisdom as I begin to implement The 4-Hour Body into my own routines and nutrition plans.

Until next time, stay thirsty my friends.
