The Best Christmas Present Ever - A Plug For A New BookI am still reading the greatest single book on personal fitness I have ever laid eyes upon.  It seems that the more I read and re-read The 4-Hour Body, the more information I get out of it even though it is all spelled out simple enough for a third-grader.

Today, as promised I will share just one more part of this book with you.  From here on out, you will just have to get it for yourself. (Fortunately, you can just click on the store link above and order it right now…)

So, without further ado…

See, Tim details a breakthrough diet in his new book.  And since I don’t want to break any copyright laws, I’ll leave the details to him, but I will give you the bird’s eye view and some helpful hints to help you along.

Rule 1:  Avoid white carbohydrates.
Don’t eat any white starches.  You know, like breads, pizza crusts, tortillas, etc.

Rule 2:  Repetition Equals Simplicity.  Simplicity Equals Success
Pick a few solid recipes and build your weekly meal plan around them.  If you don’t cook, don’t start to try it now.  Buy frozen or canned.

Rule 3:  Don’t drink any calories
Eliminate all sugary drinks from your life.  If you have to drink soft drinks, go with diet, BUT no more than 16 ounces (1 pint) per day.  Add water to your life in a big way.  No, don’t move to a dumpy travel trailer on the beach, just drink more water.

Rule 4:  Don’t eat this one type of food that your European ancestors couldn’t find in Winter months.
That’s right.  Save fruit for DGW.

Rule 5:  Break this diet once a week for fast and sure results.
Take one day a week and eat like a condemned man (or woman).  Eat all you want of whatever you want.  Be a dieter gone wild (DGW).

That’s it.  5 simple rules.  5 easy steps.  If you are sketchy about making a drastic change in your nutritional habits, then just start with the most important meal of the day.

There is science behind it.  There is a human Guinea Pig behind it.  There is plain good logic behind it.  Just get the darned book and read the chapter yourself.

I’m putting it into practice, and you should too.
